The objectives include improving the understanding of the biological, clinical, and socio-behavioral dimensions of aging within the context of HIV infection and its treatment. Additionally, it aims to advance methods for testing, preventing, and treating HIV, alongside managing HIV-related comorbidities, co-infections, and complications across diverse populations and cultural settings, integrating contemporary aging science methodologies. This research must align with the NIH Office of AIDS Research's outlined HIV/AIDS Research Priorities.
