    The Mathematical Sciences Infrastructure Program aims to ensure the vitality of the mathematical sciences research community and complements the Workforce Program by increasing the number of U.S.-based individuals pursuing mathematical sciences careers. The program supports:

    • Novel projects to enhance the research infrastructure within the mathematical sciences community.
    • Training projects that extend beyond the scope of the Workforce Program, with a focus on impactful, scalable models and partnerships.
    • National-scale conference, workshop, and travel support, particularly for cross-disciplinary activities. Proposals must demonstrate potential for significant regional or national impact beyond the host institution.
