Impact100 Philadelphia aims to make a high-impact contribution to nonprofit organizations by supporting their core mission. This goal is primarily focused on addressing unmet needs within the Philadelphia region, particularly highlighting and assisting smaller nonprofit entities in enhancing their capacity to serve the community effectively.
The grant offered by Impact100 Philadelphia is designed to support nonprofit organizations in the Philadelphia area by funding various operational needs including infrastructure, staff salaries, and primary programs or services. The grant aims to strengthen recipient organizations, allowing them to better deliver on their core mission. A significant aspect of the application process is the question of "Why now?", urging applicants to explain how a grant of $100,000 could make a substantial impact on their work at this specific time. The focus areas of the grant include Arts & Culture, Education, Environment, Family, and Health & Wellness. Each focus area aims to support a wide range of activities, from promoting artistic expression and creative thinking, teaching and informing on equitable access to opportunities, improving and protecting community spaces, enhancing the lives of families, to empowering the mental and physical well-being of community members.
