The Greater Susquehanna Valley Competitive Grant Cycle represents the First Community Foundation Partnership's initiative to use its platform to address critical social issues affecting the quality of life within its community. With a focus on visionary leadership characterized by creative, resourceful thinking, the inaugural focus under this grant cycle is to tackle "Systemic Racism." Through the "First Focus Project", FCFP aims to convene diverse groups for education and discussions, fostering a collective response to this critical issue. The foundation values and seeks potential grantees that demonstrate a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) across all levels of their operation, from staff and board to program partners and the communities they serve.
