It supports the development of facilities that provide vital services for the local community's orderly development, excluding private, commercial, or business undertakings. Eligible uses of funds include purchasing, constructing, or improving facilities like health care facilities, public facilities, community support services, public safety services, educational services, utility services, and local food systems. Grant assistance is provided on a graduated scale based on the population and median household income of the community, with specific eligibility criteria for different levels of funding assistance.
