The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality's (AHRQ) mission is to produce evidence to make healthcare safer, higher quality, more accessible, equitable, and affordable, and to work within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and with other partners to make sure that the evidence is understood and used.
The grant aims to support the career development of individual mentored clinical scientists through the Mentored Clinical Scientist Research Career Development (K08) awards. These grants are designed to foster the growth of a diverse group of health services researchers by providing them with the necessary training and experience to tackle the mission and priorities of AHRQ effectively.
