The Micro Accessibility Grants program aims to support arts organizations striving to make their arts programs accessible to persons with disabilities, providing grants of up to $2,500. This initiative endorses a variety of purposes including but not limited to, hiring artistic personnel of all abilities across levels and enhancing audience inclusion. The grants target Nonprofit, 501(c)(3) arts organizations in the South Arts Service region states, including Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. A 1:1 funding match is required, with half of this match being a cash contribution. A strong emphasis is placed on supporting organizations that are BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ identifying, led by or providing substantial programming for persons with disabilities, and those based in rural communities.
