• Address a local need with demonstrated demand.
• Impact broadly or target underserved groups.
• Feature measurable outcomes and documentation of results alongside plans for long-term sustainability.
• Demonstrate diverse income sources and effective financial management.
• Include collaborative efforts with other organizations.
• Complement rather than duplicate the efforts of other nonprofits.
• Are proposed by organizations with at least three years of full service experience and projects that have operated for at least one year with measurable impact reports available.
