The Presser Foundation provides philanthropic support for music and music education, in keeping with the Will of its founder, Theodore Presser. They work to fund the musical arts, while striving to serve a broad and diverse community of musicians, educators, and music lovers.
The Committee for the Advancement of Music considers requests for grants for general operating support of music organizations working in a broad range of traditions, genres, and styles. The Presser Foundation invests in grantees’ missions rather than specific programs. General operating support allows partners to use the funds as they see fit to reach their goals.
