To ensure that the role of the arts in the life of our communities will continue to grow and will play an evermore significant part in the welfare and educational experience of our citizens.
The Special Projects grant program aims to support new art events across all disciplines and forms in North Dakota. It encourages applications from both groups and individual artists seeking to initiate art events with North Dakota or out-of-state artists/artist groups. The program's broad goal is to provide art experiences to diverse populations within North Dakota, supporting a wide range of projects from online events to public murals, and even adjustments to annual events to increase audience participation. Specifically, it offers funding up to $1,500, which may not exceed 80% of the total project cash expenses, to support these endeavors.
