The Mycological Association of Washington, DC (MAWDC) is a nonprofit club dedicated to fostering an interest in mushrooms among a diverse group of individuals, ranging from beginners to professional mycologists.
The grant aims to support undergraduate or graduate research projects in the field of mycology by providing up to $1500 for supplies, equipment, and/or travel expenses. Award recipients are required to share their research findings with the MAWDC community through a presentation at a monthly meeting and a written report.
