This family-led mission supports projects and programs that inspire within the arts, education, environment, health, and social services sectors, aiming to fuel positive change and improve the lives of the people in Texas.
The Moody Foundation's Education M-Pact Fund is an annual grantmaking initiative that supports education institutions and nonprofits in Texas. Its strategic priorities include Early Learning and Postsecondary Success, with a focus on serving low-income or at-risk populations, supporting research/evidence-based programs, fostering collaboration, and addressing specific focus areas such as early literacy, educator workforce, mental health, special education, and wraparound services. The fund distributes grants through an open Request for Proposals (RFP) and aims to cultivate a comprehensive network of grantees to fuel student success, measure impact, and strategically deploy resources to fill education funding gaps. The initiative also includes building collaborative networks among grantees and is complemented by the Foundation's regional giving, which supports broader education initiatives alongside the specific strategic pillars of the M-Pact Fund.
