The Rines Thompson Fund is designed to enrich the Greater Portland area by offering financial support to community-based organizations. It provides two types of grants: Project Grants for new or expanding projects within these focus areas, and General Support Grants for ongoing programs and operational needs that align with the fund's priorities. Eligible organizations must operate within specified local areas, including Cape Elizabeth, Cumberland, Falmouth, Gorham, Portland, Scarborough, South Portland, Yarmouth, and Westbrook, to ensure the fund's impact remains closely tied to the community it serves.
