Our Charity Pot funding supports small, grassroots organizations in North America and around the world, working on the root cause of issues to create long-term sustainable change. These organizations focus on animal protection, environmental justice, and human rights, striving to promote non-violent direct action, address the root cause of problems, and implement fair and sustainable solutions.
The grant supports organizations working in three key areas: animal protection, to recognize animals as sentient beings deserving of care and protection; environmental justice, defending the rights of nature for a sustainable future; and human rights, advocating for the equality and defense of vulnerable groups worldwide. This funding is directed toward projects that aim for systemic change, challenge mainstream opinions, and hold governments accountable through awareness, activism, and campaigning. It is available to both registered and unregistered organizations, non-profits, or Indigenous and community groups with annual revenues of $500,000 or less. The grant prioritizes causes that are often overlooked and underfunded, supporting non-violent direct action, community-led decision making, and initiatives that are environmentally responsible and have a far-reaching impact. International grants focus on grassroots organizations with local leadership to ensure that projects are implemented with local knowledge and expertise.
