Issachar Fund partners with scholars, leaders, and organizations to seek religious and scientific truth, aiming to learn from and contribute to the ideals, values, knowledge, and practices of our increasingly multicultural society. Their vision emphasizes the humble pursuit of the truth about God and creation.
The Issachar Fund Grant focuses on exploring important questions and issues at the interface of Science and Religion. Specific areas of emphasis include the relationships of Religion and Science (conflict, cooperation, humility, and change), Religion, Ethics, Technological Enhancement, and Personhood, Cross-Cultural Religious Literacy, Learning, Understanding, and Engagement, and the Dissemination of Scholarship to Religious, Scientific, and Educational Communities. They accept Letters of Inquiry on a rolling basis, with full proposals invited after an LOI has been approved.
