It aims to develop strategies that serve multiple employers, encourage best practices in talent pipeline development, and support the integration of technology in businesses.

    Industry Sector Grants aim to engage employers in creating new training solutions to address Idaho’s workforce challenges and fill skill gaps. The program operates on a non-competitive, first-come, first-served basis, emphasizing:

    • Elevating the economic mobility of Idahoans via training that leads to better wages and job retention.
    • Providing timely aid to businesses with a shift towards developing broader talent pipeline strategies that benefit multiple employers.
    • Encouraging the economic growth by aiding employers in job creation and technology integration, specifically through skill development in their workers.
    • Ensuring a return on investment for Idaho through increased wages, job creation, capital investment, workforce retention, credential attainment, and customer satisfaction.
