The mission of the Women’s Giving Circle is to raise funds and distribute contributions to programs aimed at improving life for women and children in the Eau Claire area.
The Access Eau Claire Grant aims to enhance accessibility for people living with disabilities, which constitutes 19% of the population. It supports a range of initiatives designed to make facilities and programs more inclusive. These include staff training on disability issues, provision of inclusive materials such as adapted equipment, special program initiatives targeting people with disabilities, and creation of materials in alternate formats like Braille. Nonprofits have the opportunity to apply for this grant alongside other grant categories offered by the Community Grant cycle, as well as a specific professional development grant.
