The Local Impact Grants program supports projects up to $20,000 in the areas of vibrant economies, climate resiliency, and justice, equity, and inclusion. The grants are available year-round. Key focuses include workforce development in the energy economy for underrepresented populations, community revitalization, economic recovery, education in energy and engineering, land conservation, clean water, climate change mitigation and preparedness, natural disaster response, access to green spaces in underserved communities, support for the just transition to cleaner energy, and diversity and inclusion initiatives aimed at upward mobility.
