The Duke Energy Foundation's Local Impact Grants program aims to support initiatives within North Carolina that contribute to vibrant economies, climate resiliency, and justice, equity, and inclusion. The foundation provides funding for projects such as workforce development in the energy sector, community revitalization, economic recovery efforts, educational support in energy and engineering for K-12, environmental conservation, disaster preparedness and response, and initiatives tailored to historically underserved communities and promoting diversity and inclusion. Grants are available up to $20,000 and are accepted on a rolling basis.
