The Tree Planting Partnership Program is designed to offer matching funds to partners interested in increasing the City of Roswell's tree canopy and density, thus enhancing and beautifying the area. This program supports projects that are carried out during the optimal planting season from November to April and requires proposals to be prepared with the assistance of the City’s Tree Partnership Coordinator. The City matches partners' cash and in-kind donations 50:50, with creative match arrangements accepted to facilitate a range of project costs, leveraging both community support and volunteer labor. The funds are used primarily for purchasing tree species approved by the City Arborist to ensure the health and expansion of the City's tree canopy and density.
