The mission of the California State Parks Division of Boating and Waterways (DBW) is to provide safe and convenient public access to California’s waterways.
The Quagga and Zebra Mussel Infestation Prevention Grant Program (QZ Grant Program) offered by the DBW aims to safeguard California's waterways from the infestation of quagga and zebra mussels. The program facilitates this by providing funding to entities responsible for the water in reservoirs where recreational activities such as boating and fishing are permitted.
