The American Meteorological Society aims to advance the atmospheric and related sciences, technologies, applications, and services for the benefit of society.
The AMS administers senior undergraduate scholarships to support outstanding students pursuing degrees in atmospheric and related oceanic or hydrologic sciences. These scholarships, established in memory or honor of individuals contributing to these scientific fields, range from $2,000 to $10,000. They are awarded based on academic excellence, with some focused on specific areas aligned with the Honoree's contributions. Scholarship recipients are also invited to attend the AMS Annual Meeting with partial support, enhancing their educational experience.
